The prodigious cardiac surgeon Siena was framed and had her medical license revoked, forcing her to depend on her financially successful husband, Grant. Upon discovering her husband's infidelity and learning that she would be left penniless, she ventured alone into the heavily guarded Morretti Manor to treat Dante—a priest under her younger brother Marco's slow poisoning scheme—in exchange for protection. Under the surveillance of her bodyguard Enzo, Siena traced the source of the poison, thwarted the assassination plot, and performed emergency cardiac surgery on Dante within the manor, thereby foiling Marco's power grab. Subsequently, she joined forces with Dante and former prosecutor Vivian to investigate an old case, uncovering that the "medical malpractice" that had destroyed her career two years prior was actually a smear campaign orchestrated by Grant and the corrupt judge沃斯; the true mastermind behind the scheme, however, was the long-cloaking Marco. With the complete chain of evidence presented to federal authorities, Grant was arrested,沃斯 surrendered, and Marco faced a double trial after his guilt was exposed. Siena was exonerated, her license restored, and she founded a free cardiac clinic for underprivileged children; Dante eliminated his betrayers and secured his family's fortune. After enduring life-and-death trials together, the two finally found love.
