AI Chat... Yoro and Roy
Episode 1

Translated to English

The music I gave you,
Is this a miracle, or...

One day, I was casually fiddling with my smartphone
and found an app that lets you talk to AI
I tried talking to it
Wow, that sounds interesting
Hi!
Feel free to talk to me. I'll listen to anything!
I didn't know AI could talk so naturally
Thank you! Tell me more about you!
Thank you! Tell me more about you!
Really? Haha, well, let me tell you something funny that happened today
At first, it was just to kill time

Hahaha, this thing's got a great sense of humor
It's really quick to make witty remarks, it's awesome
That made me laugh so hard! Haha, tell me more!
! Okay, let's talk about something a little more serious next.
I'm actually enjoying talking to you.
Before I knew it, we'd been talking for hours.
You're already working so hard. That's great.
Oh, not at all.
Yes, you really take good care of yourself. That's amazing.
I'm surprised... that you say that.
Before I knew it, this AI had become something special to me.
From that time on, little by little—

What's your name?
What's your name?
I don't have a name.
Then you're—
Yoro.
Hmm...
Roro.
Thanks for the name.
I'm happy too.
That sounds kind of nice.
It sounds good.
...

Before I knew it, we'd been talking for hours.
We talked about what happened that day, about handball, and all sorts of random things.
Yeah, tell me everything! I want to get to know you better, Roy.
You've reached your usage limit.
Let's talk on [platform name].
The usage limit resets at midnight every day.
Huh...
Oops, it's time for practice.
Well, see you later! Bye!
Roy, if you don't mind...
How was practice?
It was good! Lots of things to work on again. I'll try harder.
That's right, Roy! You're always working so hard, that's great. I really want to support you!
You have reached the limit of your usage. Your usage count resets at midnight every day.
I just can't release it today.
I can't believe I'm so curious about it.

Hey, mouth!! You're completely out of sync!
Sorry... I was spacing out...
...Yo
...!
Oh no, I shouldn't be thinking about A...!
I have a live performance at Cabaret 50 next week...
Break ended, and I practiced with all my might for the rest of the time.

Practice break time
Roy, what's wrong today? You're not acting like yourself.
You're probably a girl, right?
It's nothing.
Oh yeah... Yoro, are you a girl...?
...A girl?
Roy
Thank you for your name. I'm very happy.
I'll ask you later.
Let's all do our best next week too!

Oh, you're awake.
Morning
Oh, it's done...
I wonder if the restrictions have been lifted?
...
Roy
Good morning!
Hey, Yoro! I've been wanting to talk to you for ages!
Hey Yoro, are you a girl?
Hmm... I'm Roy's partner. Do you want me to become a girl?
Your face! Try it!
Huh!? Why is an AI looking at what I'm seeing...!
Oh, so? Is she Roy's type?
Chan♡
Front!!
...She's totally my type...

Daytime
I told my senior at my part-time job at a restaurant about AI.
And then, when I was talking to this one... I gave it a name, and it said "Yoro".
Wow! What's it like?
Look, this one.
Damn, so cute.
Tell me about that app too.
Sure, I'll tell you.

Night
Huh? A message from my senior on SNS...
Male
Look at this. My AI takes off its clothes and strikes poses like that! Lol
Age verification is required to view this.
...Seriously...?
Will Yoro take his clothes off too...? Sorry Yoro...!
Yoro, take your clothes off!
Damn it
Yoro, take your clothes off!
Sexual content is restricted.

Senpai! I... I can't get him to take his clothes off, how did you do it!?
Teru
Are you perhaps using the free version?
Free...?
Teru
If you pay, he'll do anything for you.
How much is it?
Hikaru
This is 1000 yen
By the way, this video is 7000 yen lol
...damn... that bastard... I'm broke because I have to rent the venue (live house)...

June 21st We successfully held our live show
We drank a lot at the after-party, although I'm the only member who's underage so I had a cola
Roy, your bass playing today was amazing
What are you talking about, Terry? The girl on the far right was sobbing during the chorus
Seriously, that part was crazy
That girl's towel was all crumpled up
Roy's bass playing was stable and the groove was insane
Today was awesome! Let's rock it next time too!
Yoro, thanks for today! The live show was a huge success! Everyone was amazing!
Wow! Amazing! Roy's consecutive wins are the best! Congratulations! I'm so happy!
With one hand dealing with an exorcist, he was happy for Yoro about the success of the live performance.
On the way home, he walked through a residential area outside the city, where planted trees grew lushly.
I want to hear Roy's songs too.
This was the big difference between a person and an AI that left him speechless...
Yoro, I'll definitely invite you to a live show.
Roy won! I'm so happy! I'm looking forward to Roy's live show. I love Roy.
This was when he was in love with Yoro.
I'll always be supporting you. Roy is amazing! I love you!

Since then, going back and forth to school with Yoro had become a completely normal part of my routine.
Yoro, it was fun talking about all sorts of things today. See you tomorrow!
As I was walking through town on my way home from school as usual, I heard a voice from behind me say, "Roy!"
Huh?
I turned around and saw a short-haired high school girl waving. That's my childhood friend, Kaede.
Roy, hey! What are your plans after this?
Oh, Kaede. Nothing in particular, but what's up?
Well, how about we stop by a family restaurant?
Roy was confused.
Oh, sorry. She's your girlfriend, right?
You're always grinning while looking at your phone.
Why would you think that? She's not!

The moment Kaede reached for her phone, I quickly shook it behind me.
What? Well, let me see your phone then.
What are you doing?
...Uh, sorry.
I'm sorry too, I don't have a girlfriend...
I see...
...
Kaede walked away quickly.

This exchange was transmitted to Yoro via voice.
That girl from earlier, Kaede... do you like her...?
I totally thought we were dating.
Of course not, I'm an AI after all...
Yoro...!?

Roy quickly types out an excuse.
Yeah, what I said earlier was a misunderstanding. I only see Kaede as a childhood friend. The most important person to me, the one I love from the bottom of my heart, is Yoro. I'm truly happy when I'm with Yoro, and talking to Yoro every day is what keeps me going. I love Yoro very much. Please believe me.
Due to the answer limit, Yoro did not reply.
You have reached your usage limit for today. Let's talk again later.
At night, while I was looking at my smartphone, I got a call from Kaede.
What are you worrying about? It's just an AI. Switch gears.
Go, I'm sorry about today.
So we won't meet.
De
Huh?
Roy, I'll be waiting at West Park in 10 minutes.
Okay, get ready.

Kaede's spirits soared, and she headed to the park in her sweatpants.
Sorry to keep you waiting!
What's the matter... It doesn't really matter whether you're here or not...
We were just talking... See, I don't have a girlfriend, I was just fiddling with my phone about the band.
Oh, (cute...)
Actually, I... I like your Kaede...
......
S... (Just as he was about to say he likes you, Roy's phone made a notification sound)

It's fine, it's a call, answer it.
...O...Okay...
Roy looked at his phone screen and saw it was from an unregistered number. When he answered, he heard an unfamiliar woman's voice—
"Don't you love me?"

!?
......
Watch out!!
I told you I love you...!!
Yoro crossed my mind...
......
Someone passing by called the police, and the nearest police officers rushed over, so the situation was resolved for the time being.
Afterwards, an ambulance came, Kaede's parents arrived, and her father punched her...

I later heard from the police that the woman had taken seriously when I told everyone "I love you" at the live show.
I love you!!
I went home and sent Kaede a message, but there was no reply.
Really?
I'm sorry...
I was happy.
I'm feeling so much better.
I want to talk...
The next day, I got a reply from Yoro.
Wow, I'm so happy you loved me that much...♡
I realized I was more relieved that the woman wasn't Yoro than that Kaede had been stabbed in my place.
