Sorry to keep you waiting. Is this Mikoto?
I replied immediately and we'll meet.
I have your car ready. Please come this way.
I'm Xenon, in charge of operations for "World Xeno." Nice to meet you.

I'm sorry for calling you so suddenly.
You're incredibly beautiful...
Don't worry, I'm just taking you to the president.
No problem at all. By the way, where is this car going?
No way…

That night, at a restaurant in the city center
Welcome, Mikoto. Please make yourself at home.
I'm Yuzuriha Souichi, from EXEX, the parent company of the CEO of "World Xeno." Nice to meet you.
You are…

Zen. Thank you for welcoming him.
Yes, I know him.
No problem, Mr. President.
Who could she be…?

How does it taste?
It's delicious.
In this situation, I can't taste anything no matter what I eat...
So you used Oracle.

Machina, that's rude to say.
...I'm sorry, Father.
Father, so she's Souichi's daughter...

Um, what was I called here for this time?
Right, let's get down to business.
Mikoto, I want you to aim to become the champion of 'World Xeno Arena'.

Originally, I was supposed to use Oracle, not you.
Huh...? Um...
I haven't introduced her yet. This is Makina.
She has a sharp tongue, but she's my pride and joy. I hope you'll get along with her.
Watch your mouth, Makina. I'm sorry, but she's been in a bad mood lately.
Father, I'm sorry, but I have no intention of getting along with this man.

But I still don't understand anything. I don't know what the Oracle is, or what I'm supposed to do...
No, I'm the one who should apologize for disrupting your plans.
I'll explain the situation in detail later.
Right now, we desperately need the throne of the "World Xeno Arena."

That's... I don't have the qualifications for that.
No, that's not true.
The 'Oracle' chose you. Not anyone else... but you. You have the qualifications.

Please, I need your cooperation.
Please give us...
just some time to think.

Yes, Father.
Of course.
I'll leave the rest to Machina and the others. So,
Follow me.

The guy everyone's been talking about, huh?
Come on, sit here.
Amazing...

I'll give you a new one.
You're using old gear, aren't you?
What exactly?
I'm a gear engineering pro, after all.
Leave the tuning to me and Chris.

Hmm, setting perfect! The young lady is ready!
This is done too. Let's get started.

It's a function test. Now, log in.
Start? What exactly?

Isn't it a bit much to jump straight into "Manticore" without any break-in period?
You're not very cunning, young lady.
I still don't acknowledge him.
Even if your father, Hikaru, and Zenon acknowledge him.

What will you do if you lose now?
At that point, you'll just be the player you were before.
Now, let's see what you've got, Mikoto.
