Erik, a rebel leader, is captured after a failed uprising and imprisoned in a golden cage at the heart of the palace — as a living warning to anyone who dares to defy the throne. Amir, the young sultan preparing for a political marriage he never wanted, expects his prisoner to be merely a tool for control. However, during their first encounter, a dangerous bond forms between them, marked by hatred, desire, and power without consent. As Erik continues to resist and Amir tightens his grip, obsession begins to replace cruelty on both sides. With war on the horizon and betrayal lurking within the palace, Amir must choose whether to completely break his enemy or to trust the one man who could ultimately destroy him.
