For five years, Selene hides her royal identity, warms Alpha Kane Blackwood's bed, and raises their twin sons. At Kane's coronation he rejects her publicly and crowns Marissa Vale as Luna. Under the blood moon she walks out and calls her grandfather, King Aldric Argent, learning she is the Lycan throne's only living heir. Back at the Argent Citadel she awakens as a rare white wolf - the Luna of Lunas - while Kane is forced to surrender custody of their sons. Regina and Elder Vale hire a witch to force a severance rite, but Selene defeats and exposes them before the Continental Council. Confirmed as heir, she keeps the mate bond on her own terms. A year later she rules as Queen, her family rebuilt by proof, and Kane's door stays closed - but not without a key.
