When Eileen moves into what she thinks is her brother’s apartment, she finds Derek—a blind man chained inside. Mistaking him for her brother’s “pet dog”, she cares for him in quirky, gentle ways. Once she learns he is Derek Ashworth, the CEO whose home she has trespassed in, she flees. They meet again at a gala, where a fully sighted Derek seems to recognize her all too well.
